Angela M. Holley, Ph.D., LPC, CSAC, CCTP, CATP, CAMS-II
Dr. Holley is the owner and Program Director of Human Care, LLC, and is a native of Chesapeake, VA. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Virginia State University. She obtained her doctoral degree from Capella University in Advanced Studies in Human Behavior. Dr. Holley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP) through the International Association of Trauma Professionals, and a Certified Anger Management Specialist-II (CAMS-II) through the National Anger Management Association.

Dr. Holley has worked with various populations ranging from children to senior adults. She has worked in numerous and diverse clinical settings, which include state hospitals, local hospitals, group homes, in-home, communities, residential treatment facilities, and a university counseling center. Dr. Holley has extensive experience providing individual, and group counseling, couples counseling, training programs, and seminars on various topics. Dr. Holley’s areas of expertise include working with individuals that suffer from serious mental illnesses, women’s issues, trauma, substance abuse, relationships, depression, anxiety, and anger.

Dr. Holley utilizes an integrative approach to therapy. She combines elements from different disciplines of psychotherapy to enhance the client's personal growth and facilitate wholeness. The individual’s ability to function is then maximized. Dr. Holley’s method of counseling empowers the client, so they are able to remain a stable force when faced with adversity.
Anita B. Holley
Anita B. Holley, MA, LPC, CCTP, CAMS-II
Anita Holley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and a NAMA Certified Anger Management Specialist CAMS-II. She obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Anita retired from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration after 35 years of service. She has over 30 years of Christian counseling experience working with individuals, couples, children, and adolescents experiencing emotional dysregulation, interpersonal relationship conflict, maladaptive behaviors, stress, anxiety, and depression.
As an independently Licensed Professional Counselor with Human Care LLC, Anita has experience working with various populations such as children, adolescents, adults of all ages, couples, and families, helping clients with serious mental health issues, personality disorders, depression, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, anger, and interpersonal relationship conflict navigate life.
Anita’s approach to therapy is integrative wherein she works with several empirically supported modalities in helping clients improve their mental health. She helps her clients learn how to function and work through emotional dysregulation and teaches clients how to manage thoughts and emotions through learned coping skills. Anita helps clients be empowered mentally so they can effectively manage life’s challenges and return to their normal level of functioning.
